This item is the Cybex Plate Loaded Squat Press. It is a commercial strength training machine designed to work the lower body muscle groups. This Cybex Squat Press is designed on 4 bar linkage as opposed to the traditional linear bearing leg press systems. This 4 bar linkage allows the press plate carriage to move in a more simulated range of motion for the lower body muscles. There is a safety catch that must be released for the press plate carriage to move freely. The seat and back are fixed and do not adjust. There is an exercise placard that shows the basic operation of the machine as well as the muscle groups. Overall, it is one of the best lower body machines for strength training.
